| Samurai International Sportswear is delighted to announce they have agreed a three year sponsorship deal with Caerphilly Rugby Football Club. The agreement will see Samurai supply Caerphilly with all their on and off-field kit. Samurai Sales Manager for Wales and the South West of England, Damian Cooper said “Samurai are absolutely delighted at signing a 3 year contract with Caerphilly Rugby Football Club to become the official kit supplier. Caerphilly are a very strong club with an excellent junior infrastructure and we look forward to supplying all teams with quality on - field and training product. We are also delighted to have CC Sports of Bargoed on board to run the club retail operation which will offer a complete range of Caerphilly RFC bespoke product for the supporters’. | Learn to salsa dance and support your local rugby club |
| A friendly salsa class for beginners and improvers every Tuesday is
being held at Caerphilly Rugby Club, Virginia Park, Virginia Close,
Caerphilly, CF83 3JA. Learn to dance salsa from 8pm-9:30pm which includes 30 mins of footwork, 30 mins partner work & 30 mins improvers partner work - free dancing until 10pm - singles and couples welcome. No partner is required and the cost is £5 per person to cover teacher and venue hire. With a view to organise a 'Salsa Social Night' once a month on a friday night to be confirmed - to raise money for Caerphilly R.F.C. - with a FREE 30 mins taster class and dancing. | Congratulations to Gwyn "Wagger" Willacott who is the winner of a bottle of whisky for being the lucky member who submitted his membership prior to 31st August, 2008. The bottle of whisky was kindly donated by the Green Army Supporters Club. Existing members are reminded that their membership cards will be suspended shortly unless renewed, thereby denying the opportunity of discounted bar prices. | Following a very successful season, our attention turns to the forthcoming campaign with confidence and anticipation of another successful winter of rugby at Virginia Park.
The Committee of Caerphilly R.F.C. have decided for the third successive year to retain both membership and season ticket prices at the same level. This decision was based upon the continued loyalty and support of a faithful and vociferous band of Members and Supporters. The benefits of being a Club Member are: . Bar discounts; . Free hire of club lounges and bars; . Availability of Wales International match tickets, and . If not a season ticket holder, reduced gate admission. Existing membership will expire at midnight on Sunday, 31st August, 2008. During the summer months, in order for a continued income source, Phil Emanuel - Chairman of Caerphilly R.F.C. asks that all members renew their membership. For those who apply prior to the 31st August, 2008, they will be entered into a free raffle for a bottle of Whiskey. Application forms are available from the Lounge Bar or click here to print your own from a PDF file. Completed applications can be placed in the Membership Box located in the Lounge Bar. Due to damage caused to seats within both stands, it is not possible to reserve seats until they have been repaired. Apology in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
